We are seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in streamlining the review of commercial agreements, ensuring efficient handling of critical documents, and enabling our legal team to operate at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will draft and negotiate terms and conditions for various commercial contracts, including order forms, professional service agreements, master services agreements, statements of work, data privacy agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other agreements.
  • You will solve contract-related problems with internal stakeholders and external parties.
  • You will develop creative solutions and draft alternative terms, working closely with attorneys within the Legal team.
  • You will obtain approval for non-standard terms in accordance with internal policies.
  • You will educate internal teams on conformity and consistency in contract terms and legal obligations.
  • You will contribute to maintenance and enhancement of Legal administrative processes and legal documents.
Requirements:
  • A university level degree or equivalent is required, along with 4-6 years' experience negotiating legal terms & conditions with customers or vendors.
  • Training or education in law, paralegal skills, negotiation, or legal writing, including IAACM or similar certification is required.
  • Familiarity with media organizations is desirable.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English is essential.
  • Experience working with commercial contract management and understanding of contract and commercial law is necessary.
  • Adept in use of digital tools, document systems, and MS Office - particularly advanced skills in Word, Excel, Power Point, SharePoint - is required.
