Student Counsellor Role

This role is designed to guide prospective students through the university admission process, providing them with information about various programs and supporting enrollment targets.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with students and parents, explaining program offerings, eligibility, and admission processes clearly and effectively. They will also maintain follow-ups with leads and inquiries generated through various sources, coordinate open houses and school visits, and collaborate with the marketing team to support admission campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counsel prospective students and parents through phone calls, emails, virtual meetings, and in-person interactions.
  • Explain program offerings, eligibility, and admission processes to students and parents.
  • Maintain accurate records of communication and progress in the CRM system.
  • Coordinate and participate in university open houses, school visits, education fairs, and webinars.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support admission campaigns and lead generation.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. A Bachelor's degree in any discipline is required, and a Master's degree is preferred. You should also have 1-5 years of experience in student counselling or admissions.
