Cloud Architect Job Description

As a Cloud Architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions that meet our business needs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support strategic business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based architectures using Azure API Management Service.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs into applications and services.
  • Maintain Azure APIM gateways and management platforms up & running.
  • Monitor and analyze API performance and usage metrics to optimize service efficiency.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of APIs, including authentication and authorization protocols.
  • Provide technical support and documentation for API usage and best practices.
  • Develop and enforce policies and protocols for API access and usage to maintain security and compliance.

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
  • Proficient in API design and management tools (Azure API Management Service).
  • Strong understanding of security protocols and standards such as OAuth, JWT, and SSL/TLS.
  • Hands-On experience of integrating APIs with APIM service using Azure DevOps tool.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to troubleshoot API issues.
