Job Title: Drupal Expert

Location: Gurgaon

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain high-performance Drupal websites and modules for client or internal projects.
  • Build custom themes using Twig, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript to meet business requirements.
  • Develop, debug and optimize custom modules and site functionality to ensure seamless user experience.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and external services (e.g., CRM, analytics) to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers and content strategists, to deliver project goals.
  • Ensure high performance, accessibility (WCAG) and security standards to protect company assets.
  • Use tools such as Composer, Drush, Git and debugging consoles to streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed to foster knowledge sharing.
  • Support upgrades, migrations and ongoing maintenance between Drupal versions to stay ahead of the curve.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years professional development experience with Drupal (preferably versions 8/9/10).
  • Proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • Experience in custom Drupal module and theme development.
  • Strong knowledge of Drupal APIs, hooks and configuration management.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and responsive design principles.
  • Experience using version control systems (Git).
  • Familiarity with Composer, Drush and deployment automation.
  • Experience with API integration (REST/SOAP/GraphQL).
  • Good problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently.
