Job Role:

Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client expectations, communicate daily, and oversee project delivery as the primary point of contact.
  • Own the project and its deliverables, ensuring completion, direct communication with clients and stakeholders, and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, estimate resources and participants needed, and oversee the project lifecycle using defined methodologies.
  • Recommend budget changes, update financial forecasts, and plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and resources.
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations, ensuring clear and consistent communication channels.
  • Proactively manage project scope, identify potential crises, devise contingency plans, document blockers, changes, and risks, and maintain a centralized tracker accessible to the client.
  • Define project success criteria, conduct post-mortems, and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Utilize tools like Confluence for documentation, ensure all project meetings are documented, and necessary parties are notified, and collaborate with QA to plan and execute project demos.
  • Address internal team blockers to keep the project on track, ensure all team members have necessary access to resources, and send client status reports summarizing project work, budget status, changes, risks, and action items.
  • Collaborate with other Project Managers, conduct weekly internal meetings to review concerns and issues with leadership, and plan.
  • Own release management processes, ensuring alignment with project timelines and business objectives, and oversee planning, execution, and post-release activities.
Requirements:
  • Direct work experience in project management, including process development and execution on the SFCC platform.
  • Familiarity with project management and release management software, such as Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, JIRA, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of current IT technologies, focusing on release management processes and methodologies.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and operational skill sets, to facilitate collaboration across teams.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, managing project and release schedules.
  • Experience with project management practices and tools to create, manage, and track project performance, deliverables, and outcomes, including release cycles.
  • Ability to lead a team, drive projects to completion, and ensure successful release deployments.
  • Lead development/implementation teams, coordinate release activities, and ensure alignment with project timelines and business objectives.
  • Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and manage post-release activities.
  • Skilled in facilitating communication and collaboration for efficient release processes, monitoring, and reporting on release progress.
  • Implement and improve release management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
