Job Title:

Automation Specialist


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain automation environments, including design, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Create, update, and optimize job groups, calendars, triggers, and alerts for seamless workflow execution.
  • Migrate and onboard workloads into Tidal from other tools or manual processes to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate closely with support teams to gather requirements and ensure timely task completion.
  • Analyze failures, identify root causes, and implement preventive actions to minimize downtime.
  • Provide top-tier support for critical batch jobs and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Tidal configurations and processes.
  • Participate in change, incident, and problem management processes to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in workload automation, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience using Tidal Workload Automation.
  • A strong understanding of batch job lifecycle management and dependency handling is crucial.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Shell, PowerShell, or Python) for automation and troubleshooting is required.
  • Good knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix) is essential.
  • Experience working in ITIL-based environments (Incident, Change, and Problem Management) is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills are necessary for success.
