Key Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a highly motivated Sales and Business Development Officer to drive sales and achieve business targets for our LAP product in the assigned territory.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads through field visits, channel partners, and cold calls.
- A key aspect of this role is understanding customer requirements and suggesting suitable loan solutions.
- You will manage the entire loan processing cycle – sourcing, documentation, credit evaluation, support, and disbursal coordination.
- Collaboration with credit, operations, and legal teams is essential to ensure smooth processing.
- You will build strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and local business communities.
- Providing periodic market intelligence and competitor insights to improve strategies is crucial.
- The Sales and Business Development Officer must ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- You will track and report sales performance and pipeline status regularly.
Requirements:
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in any stream, preferably with an MBA or Finance background.
- 1-5 years of experience in LAP MSME SME lending, NBFCs, Banks, Fintech is preferred.
- A good understanding of local markets and property documentation is essential.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills are required.
- A willingness to travel locally and meet customers in person is necessary.
