Job Title

Climate Tender Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional with 2–6 years of relevant experience to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering and proposal development process for projects in carbon markets, renewable energy, environmental services, and NBS initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the preparation and submission of tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and bids in line with client and sector requirements.
  • Review tender documents and identify compliance requirements, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, legal, finance, BD) and tender experts to compile inputs, cost estimates, and supporting materials.
  • Draft and structure high-quality technical and commercial proposals tailored to carbon markets, renewable energy, and sustainability projects.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of templates, case studies, credentials, and standard bid documents.
  • Track and monitor relevant opportunities from government bodies, corporates, and international organizations.
  • Ensure timely submission of proposals and post-submission follow-up with clients and partners.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Relevant degree in a field related to climate change and sustainability.
  • Experience: 2-6 years of relevant experience in tender management in the field of climate change and sustainability.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering procedures in government, corporate, or donor-funded projects.
  • Ability to coordinate across departments and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in tendering/proposals who can coordinate well with Tender Experts.
