This role is centered on providing top-notch Oracle database administration support in a high-performance environment.

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Oracle DBA with 5 – 8 years of expertise to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Oracle databases, implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions, and collaborating with developers to optimize database performance.

A strong understanding of Oracle 12c/19c database administration, including RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM, RMAN, and SQL & PL/SQL development is required.

The selected individual will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work under pressure, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement database installation and configuration
  • Maintain database performance and monitor health using OEM and custom monitoring scripts
  • Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and schema design
  • Develop shell scripts, PL/SQL scripts, and Ansible/Terraform playbooks to automate recurring tasks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's / master's degree in engineering (Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related)
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA in mission-critical environments
  • Strong knowledge of RAC, Data Guard, ASM, OEM, RMAN, SQL & PL/SQL development, Linux/Unix administration, and cloud-hosted Oracle DB solutions
