Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Specialist

 

The role of an Environmental Sustainability Specialist is to ensure that our organization's operations are environmentally responsible and compliant with relevant regulations. This includes monitoring environmental programs, assessing pollutants, and developing strategies to mitigate environmental impacts.

 

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce the organization's environmental footprint, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainable procurement practices.
  • Monitor and report on key environmental metrics, such as greenhouse gas emissions, water usage, and waste generation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sustainability policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and education to employees on environmental sustainability best practices.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental sustainability or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
