Business Analyst Role Summary:

Our organization is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to independently manage medium to large projects through the lifecycle, utilizing proficient business analysis tools and methodologies. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with global stakeholders to build project pipelines, establish project governance mechanisms, lead Business Analysis teams, and drive project success from inception to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring proper documentation, identifying, reviewing, and addressing risks & issues, managing user acceptance testing, and obtaining UAT sign-off.
  • Prepare project reports, highlighting trends, recommending adjustments, and providing weekly project updates and monthly status updates.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Operations, Finance, and Front Office teams to identify and maximize opportunities that enhance project delivery and improve product, service, and program business processes.
  • Develop and implement project governance models, structure induction frameworks for resources entering projects, and train colleagues on various subjects.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an Investment bank or similar industry.
  • Strong understanding of capital market products, derivatives across asset classes, trade lifecycle, global regulations, trading/investment banking processes, and agile/waterfall project methodologies.
  • Ability to operate in both agile and waterfall style project methodologies and have an understanding of deliverables required for each methodology.
  • Experience in handling digital transformation/data analytics projects, attention to detail, and high-quality standards of documentation, processes, and control environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio) and proficiency in data analysis, virtualization, and BI solutions (SQL, Python, Dremio, PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau).

Domain and Business Knowledge:

  • Process change experience – methodology and tools.
  • Domain experience across key business areas – Trade Lifecycle, Trade Processing, Regulatory, Reporting, Collateral Management, Derivatives Operations.
  • Critical thinking and ability to anticipate issues & plan stakeholder elicitation sessions.
