We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in Python, Pandas, REST API, and testing to join our data engineering team.

About the Role:

As a Senior Data Validation Expert, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases for data validation and transformation processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Validate data integrity across various sources including APIs, databases.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and developers to understand data flows and ensure quality across the pipeline.
  • Develop Python scripts using Pandas for data comparison, profiling, and anomaly detection.
  • Test data against RESTful APIs for correctness, performance, and reliability.
  • Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and Pandas for data manipulation and testing.
  • Hands-on experience using tools like Postman, Pytest, or similar.
  • Experience with data validation, data profiling, and data quality frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB and NoSQL data models is a plus.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
