Data Validation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and hands-on data validation skills.
Main Responsibilities:- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and reports.
- Perform data-level validations: schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validations.
- Work extensively with GCP services (especially BigQuery) for data validation.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for testing large data sets.
- Automate test cases using GCP services like Cloud Composer (or Apache Airflow), BigQuery and SQL.
- Monitor GCP cloud logs and build dashboards.
- Identify, log, and track defects and provide regular status updates on execution/validation progress.
- Manage defect triage with various stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on data validation skills.
- Experience with data-level validations.
- Ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
- Familiarity with GCP services like Cloud Composer and BigQuery.
