Job Title: ETL Testing Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ETL testing manager to lead and manage a team of testers for ETL data warehouse and BI testing projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data validation and transformation testing, as well as expertise in Qlik Report validation.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing performance load and stress testing initiatives, with experience in test planning estimation and resource allocation. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for this role, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of testers for ETL data warehouse and BI testing projects
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and quality assurance frameworks
  • Create and maintain testing standards methodologies and best practices
  • Oversee test planning estimation and resource allocation
  • Review and approve test plans test cases and test scenarios
  • Monitor testing progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Manage defect tracking and resolution process across teams
  • Coordinate with development teams' business users and other stakeholders
  • Establish metrics and KPIs for measuring testing effectiveness
  • Mentor team members and facilitate their professional development
  • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors/ Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
  • 8+ years of testing experience with 3 years in a leadership role
  • Strong experience in data warehouse ETL and BI testing
  • Expertise in Qlik QlikView Qlik Sense testing and validation
  • Advanced SQL skills and database management knowledge
  • Proven experience in test management tools ALM JIRA
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and quality frameworks
  • Experience in managing performance testing initiatives
  • Excellent project management and risk assessment skills
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in resource planning and capacity management
