Job Title: Production Manager - Plastic Injection Molding

A key objective of this position is to oversee and optimize the plastic injection molding process. This role involves ensuring compliance with standards, maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness in the manufacturing department, and managing various aspects of the production process, including productivity, rejection control, R&D, and equipment maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Ensure and monitor the productivity of molded parts as per capacity.">
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs and processes in the plastic injection molding manufacturing process.">
  • Monitor and control rejections in molded parts as per defined norms.">
  • Execute R&D work related to molds, injection molding plants, and departments.">
  • Continuously monitor and control mold conditions and repairing as per requirement.">
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding trials, requirements, and corrections.">
  • Continuously monitor and control machines and repairing as per requirement.">
  • Maintain and ensure documentation in the injection molding department as per ISO 13485:2016 standards.">
  • Process optimization and troubleshooting in the injection molding process.">
  • Ensure production completion in the injection molding department as per production planning.">
  • Take trials of new molds and materials.">
  • Attach routing and quality plans for new injection-molded parts coded in the system (SAP).">
  • Install all new equipment, OQ, PQ, and new process validation. Create SOPs.">
  • Ensure periodic review of all SOPs of the department.">
  • Support the QA/QC department for documentation, complaints, root cause, CAPA, and technical requirements.">
  • Ensure preventive and periodic maintenance of machines and molds on time.">
  • Work on the design and coordination of new molds.">
  • Spend time in the molding plant and collect observations.">
  • Monitor the works of operators/employees of the injection molding division.">
  • Provide process training to operators.">
  • Maintain cGMP norms in the injection molding plant.">
