Lead Data Strategist

The Lead Data Strategist will spearhead the development and implementation of data architecture solutions that drive business growth.

This role requires a deep understanding of data warehousing, distributed computing, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in data engineering, ETL processes, and data modeling.

  • Select and integrate Big Data tools and frameworks to meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines with ETL process, monitor performance, and advise infrastructure changes
  • Translate technical and functional requirements into detailed designs
  • Analyze alternative solutions for data storing and processing
  • Mentor junior staff with technical training sessions and project output reviews
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and modeling techniques
  • Distributed computing principles - Hadoop v2, MapReduce, HDFS
  • Data engineering skills on GCP cloud platforms Airflow, Cloud Composer, Data Fusion, Data Flow, Data Proc, Big Query
  • Building stream-processing systems with Storm or Spark- Streaming
  • Big Data querying tools like Pig, Hive, Impala
  • Experience with Spark, SQL, Linux
  • ETL techniques and frameworks Flume, Apache NiFi, DBT
  • Messaging systems Kafka, RabbitMQ
  • Lambda Architecture knowledge
