Job Title: Communications Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced communications strategist to lead our corporate communications efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong media relationships, experience in the corporate sector, and a passion for driving results through a motivated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Communication: Develop and execute integrated communication strategies tailored for the corporate sector.
  • Clients Relationships: Build and nurture senior-level client relationships, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • PR Counsel: Provide strategic PR counsel to key clients, positioning them effectively against competitors.
  • Brand Awareness: Strengthen brand awareness by showcasing the company's capabilities, talent, and results.
  • Media Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, proactively managing media relations and crisis communication.
  • Trends and Insights: Identify and leverage global, digital, and social media trends to enhance communication strategies.
  • New Business: Lead new business proposals, presentations, and pitch meetings.
  • Team Management: Manage resources, performance, and efficiency to ensure effectiveness.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Apply data-driven insights to optimize communication plans and recommend actionable strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of experience in public relations, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Media Relations: Strong media relations expertise with a proven track record of managing press coverage for airlines, airports, or travel brands.
  • Crisis Communication: Experience in corporate image management, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Microsoft Office: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
