Job Title: City Coordinator Consultant

Role Overview:

Our team seeks experienced individuals to plan and deliver heart health awareness events in government medical colleges, district hospitals, and public institutions. This role requires liaison with State NHM departments, hospital administrators, and district health officials to build long-term partnerships that align our programs with state-level NCD and CVD priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison & Advocacy: Build strong relationships with State NHM officials, District CMOs, and hospital administrators; manage permissions and approvals for awareness programs; represent us in consultations and meetings when needed.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Coordinate events, mobilize participants, manage logistics such as venue permissions and equipment support.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare event reports, collect monitoring data, and follow up with hospitals and NHM offices.
  • Partnership Development: Identify opportunities to embed our programs within government health initiatives, facilitate sponsorships or co-hosted programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5-7 years' experience in public health, NGOs, CSR, hospitals, or development programs;
  • Demonstrated work with government health systems (NHM, NCD Cells, Medical Colleges, District Hospitals);
  • Prior exposure to community health events, awareness campaigns, or patient engagement programs;
  • Strong networking, negotiation, and coordination skills with ability to navigate government processes;
  • Proficiency in local language for effective engagement with hospitals and communities;
  • Preferred: Lived experience as a heart patient or having a close family member with heart disease.
