As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all guests have an exceptional dining experience. You will lead a team of staff members, providing guidance and training to help them achieve their full potential.

  • Assist in managing restaurant staff:
  1. Handle employee questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  2. Monitor staff performance to ensure that expectations are met.
  3. Provide feedback to employees based on observations of service behaviors.
  4. Assist in supervising daily shift operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  5. Supervise restaurant and related areas in the absence of the Director of Restaurants or Restaurant Manager.
  6. Participate in department meetings by communicating clear and consistent messages regarding departmental goals to produce desired results.
  • Conduct day-to-day restaurant operations:
  1. Ensure all staff have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
  2. Communicate with Chef and Restaurant Manager any issues regarding food quality and service levels.
  3. Ensure compliance with all restaurant policies, standards, and procedures.
  4. Monitor alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws.
  5. Manage to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
  6. Perform all duties of restaurant employees and related departments as necessary.
  • Provide exceptional customer service:
  1. Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
  2. Supervise staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
  3. Encourage employees to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
  4. Handle guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from supervisor as necessary.
  5. Strive to improve service performance.
  6. Sets a positive example for guest relations.
  • Conduct human resource activities:
  1. Supervise ongoing training initiatives.
  2. Use all available on-the-job training tools for employees.
  3. Communicate performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position.
  4. Coach and counsel employees regarding performance on an ongoing basis.
