Software Quality Assurance Professional

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Professional to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies, automation development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.


About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web applications, mobile apps, and APIs.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues.

Test Automation

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG).
  • Build and enhance continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing pipelines.
  • Create automated API tests using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Maintain test automation frameworks and improve test coverage.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Provide feedback on requirements and user stories from a testing perspective.
  • Contribute to improving testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
