Operations Excellence Manager

As an Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and deliver outstanding value to our customers. You will be responsible for monitoring safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and inventory on a daily basis, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective strategies.

You will also be responsible for coordinating with the Supply Chain Management team to achieve customer On Time Delivery, reducing losses and rejection costs, and improving customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will participate in new project reviews, lead sample builds, and ensure timely delivery of products along with PPAP documents.

Another key aspect of this role is establishing processes for the assembly of products to ensure highest quality at optimum production rates and economical costs. You will also drive cost-saving projects through reduction of consumables, energy, water, and expenses year-on-year, while adhering to compliance and regulatory requirements.

This position requires a strong background in engineering, preferably electrical, electronics, or mechanical, with 12-15 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing engineering, and maintenance roles in electronic product assembly or automobile industries. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, quality tools such as 6-sigma, control plans, SPC, FMEA, standard work, 5S, Kanban, JIT, etc., is essential.
