Job Title: Project Costing Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Costing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in managing the costing process for large and complex projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Cost Estimation:

Interpret architectural drawings to estimate costs accurately, considering factors such as materials, labor, and equipment requirements.

  • Rate Analysis:

Analyze market rates to determine the most cost-effective options for project components, ensuring optimal pricing and profitability.

  • Bills of Material:

Prepare detailed Bills of Material to facilitate accurate cost tracking and management throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Project Tracking:

Monitor project progress, adjusting costs and pricing as needed to ensure compliance with project goals and objectives.

  • Collaboration:

Liaise with cross-functional teams, including vendors, stakeholders, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution and cost management.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in project costing or estimation, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Revit, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
  • BE in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or equivalent; MBA preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
