Job Title: Business Growth Specialist

Job Summary:

Purpose:

Drive business expansion in strategic industries through sales and customer connection efforts, ensuring the achievement of sales objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a sales strategy for assigned verticals/territories, identifying potential clients, understanding customer requirements, and forecasting market trends.
  • Monitor weekly sales targets at the territory/vertical level, highlighting deviations, and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to sales goals at the territory level.
  • Identify opportunities from multiple channels and develop pursuit plans.
  • Negotiate and finalize terms with clients regarding product specifications, payment terms, and timelines, and obtain approval from the reporting manager.
  • Maintain relationships with customers to understand their needs and resolve queries efficiently.
  • Identify integrated solution opportunities involving Motors/Automation Products Systems and report to managers.
  • Document customer specifications in relevant formats and forward them to concerned departments.
  • Liaise with operations teams to ensure order execution according to predefined timelines and criteria.
  • Communicate changes in order specifications to concerned departments and customers.
  • Ensure timely collections from clients according to contractual agreements.
  • Dispatch goods to clients' sites on time, adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Adhere to policies/processes to enhance response quality and minimize response time to customer queries.
  • Lead establishment of service centers or identify partner agencies for quick after-sales services.
  • Provide technical support to customers on after-sales issues.
  • Resolve customer complaints within predefined timelines.
  • Log and update customer interaction activities in relevant systems.
  • Respond promptly to customer queries/issues during sales finalization, execution, and post-execution.
  • Liaise with distributors and dealers, escalating significant issues to superiors.
  • Manage dealer-related activities, such as stock booking, invoicing, and payments.
  • Stay updated on territorial developments and provide marketing data on potential expansion opportunities.
  • Conduct one-to-one discussions with superiors on future plans and required details.
