Power BI Developer Job Description

Job Title: Power BI Developer
Job Summary:

  • Develop and design interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards to provide business insights.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI reports.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI deployments.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Skills:

  • Proficiency in all aspects of Power BI, including report development, data modeling, and visualization.
  • Strong understanding of DAX and Power Query for data transformation and modeling.
  • Knowledge of database concepts and experience working with relational databases.
  • Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

  • Good exposure to other visualization tools like Tableau/ Qlik etc.
  • Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time-critical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Query, DAX functions etc.
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and visualization principles.
