Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced network engineer to manage, operate, and troubleshoot complex network environments. This role requires providing high-quality support to our customers during business hours, ensuring network availability, performance, and security.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset, with the capability to engage directly with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
  • Independently resolve network incidents and service requests within SLA.
  • Perform network configuration, upgrades, and patch management.
  • Work with global teams to ensure seamless network operations.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend preventive actions.
  • Document network designs, processes, incident reports, and knowledge transfers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to design and implement solutions (e.g., VPN policies, network segmentation, and access control).
  • Support ongoing evaluation and testing of new tools such as Network Access Control (NAC).
  • Ensure compliance with network security policies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network platforms.
  • Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with firewalls and network security.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

Preferred Certifications and Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting international clients.
  • Exposure to designing solutions (not only operational support).
