Network Operations Engineer

Our ideal candidate will have junior (level 2) operations engineering expertise to large complex enterprise LAN and WAN clients in predominantly Cisco networking environments. Responsibilities include reviewing scripting planning and execution of network Change Management process investigating network issues incidents and bringing them to resolution within stated SLA parameters working with Incident Problem and Change Management providing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to operations teams and customers upon request and providing technical leadership both verbally and in writing for Incident and Change.

The successful candidate will be able to work on network drawings with Visio collaborate with other application teams and have a good understanding of BGP EIRGP routing NAT/PAT VPN and firewall technologies. Additionally education should include a four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferably in Computer Science Information Systems or Engineering or three years of college or technical school resulting in an associate's degree or equivalent.

Required certifications or equivalent experience include PCNSE desirable certifications or equivalent experience include Cisco SDWAN Specialization Palo Alto Certification and required experience includes network operations experience and expertise in a variety of predominantly Cisco LAN and WAN in large complex enterprise environments experience implementing/managing WAN circuits (T1 Ethernet MPLS etc.) experience using network analysis management and performance monitoring tools to plan for growth diagnose problems and determine source working on comprehensive projects in complex networking environments experience implementing/managing EIGRP/BGP routing protocols in an enterprise network environment experience implementing VLAN technology in an enterprise environment and special knowledge/skills/abilities include clear communication skills time management/self-management independent work skills presentation skills in-depth routing protocols experience and operational knowledge: EIGRP & BGP.
