HVAC Design Engineer - We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HVAC engineer who can bring innovative solutions to the table and drive business growth. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that meet or exceed industry standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform load calculations, equipment selection, duct and piping design to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Design HVAC systems including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air distribution systems
  • Select and size HVAC equipment based on project requirements
  • Design ductwork, piping layouts, and control systems using software like HAP, Trace 700, or Carrier E-20
  • Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and local building codes
  • Perform energy efficiency analysis and optimize HVAC systems for cost and sustainability
  • Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, and contractors for system integration

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC design and engineering
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software (HAP, Trace 700, Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Carrier E-20)
  • Strong knowledge of duct and pipe sizing, psychrometrics, and refrigeration cycles
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and other HVAC standards
  • Experience in energy modeling and sustainable HVAC system design
  • Ability to troubleshoot HVAC system performance issues
