Job Opportunity:

You are invited to apply for a challenging role as a HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA Systems Specialist. As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, programming, installing, and troubleshooting HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop project scope of work, schedule, and budget for BMS and power management projects requested by customers and stakeholders.
  • Manage the execution of BMS improvement projects in data centers, including scope, schedule, finance, and procurement activities.
  • Assist in procurement-related activities, such as request for quotation/proposals, responding to request for information, reviewing vendor proposals, and issuing purchase orders.
  • Support controls projects related commissioning activities in data centers.
  • Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of data center equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure that designs and installations meet requirements (e.g., predicted cooling, structural, operational concerns, etc).
  • Develop data center vulnerability remediation playbooks for control system designs in conjunction with IT teams.

Candidate Profile:

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience.

The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of industry-standard electrical and mechanical systems used in data centers, as well as controls/monitoring systems.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting, or servicing HVAC Controls and Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, Building Management System (BMS) Controls software, and networks is required.

Additionally, proficiency in developing and modifying controls logic programming and graphical user interfaces is necessary. Project coordination experience with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements for data centers is also desirable.

TCP/IP, MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS communication protocol experience is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software is also expected.
