At our organization, we seek a talented High Voltage Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with high voltage electrical systems and equipment. This includes designing and reviewing technical specifications, requisitioning for inquiry and purchase of HV electrical equipment, and conducting power system studies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing main electrical equipment and materials
  • Preparing and reviewing technical specifications and data sheets
  • Preparing electrical equipment and material sizing calculations
  • Preparing control and protection schematics and single line drawings (SLDs)
  • Requisitioning for inquiry and purchase of HV electrical equipment
  • Designing and reviewing overhead transmission lines (OHLs)
  • Reviewing generation/grid interconnections
  • Conducting power system studies
  • Evaluating technical bids for HV electrical equipment

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to discuss routine technical problems and communicate effectively with immediate supervisors and other project personnel.

  • 15 years or more experience working in the electrical discipline in an engineering company
