Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing complex electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems for buildings and infrastructure projects.
  • Apply professional knowledge and experience to independently design complex electrical projects.
  • Maintain adequate knowledge of electrical designs, including distribution panels, lighting, cable management systems, and outdoor/indoor lighting.
  • Perform load estimation, voltage drop, and short circuits calculations, as well as ELV system design.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of NEC, CPWD international codes, and practices.
  • Estimate costs for RFPs and develop effective communication and coordination skills in multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members, providing knowledge and skill development opportunities.
Requirements:

To be successful as an Electrical Design Engineer, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university with 4-15 years of experience in consultant design, managing complex building services MEP Design.
  • Master's degree holders are given preference.
  • Effective management of team members for projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and contractors.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT-MEP, and Navisworks is an added advantage.
