Job Description:

As a seasoned Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of cutting-edge power electronics systems. This includes designing and implementing DC-DC converters, onboard chargers, inverters, and battery management interfaces.

Key responsibilities include defining system architecture, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless integration of mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering. You will also oversee simulation, modelling, and analysis of power electronics circuits using tools like PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, or LTspice.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead end-to-end development of power electronics systems
  2. Define system architecture and component specifications
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
  4. Oversee simulation, modelling, and analysis of power electronics circuits
  5. Guide PCB layout for high-power designs ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management
  6. Drive validation and testing of prototypes in lab and vehicle environments
  7. Evaluate and select components such as IGBTs, SiC/GaN FETs, gate drivers, magnetics, and capacitors
  8. Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and functional safety
  9. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and design documentation
  10. Act as point of authority for complex engineering problems
  11. Document system requirements and specifications in a traceable way with test cases
Requirements:
  1. 3+ years of experience in HV Systems engineering and Battery Management System design
  2. Expertise in agile methods and toolsets such as JIRA, SCRUM, KANBAN etc.
  3. Extensive experience in HV Product Development for EV, System Engineering and with knowledge of product development life cycle and software development life cycle
  4. Strong understanding of high-voltage systems, safety protocols, and thermal management
  5. Hands-on experience in CAN tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, DET) would be a strong advantage
  6. Excellent understanding of OEM & Engineering Services processes
  7. Requirement management – DOORS, SYSML/UML, Mantis, CodeBeamer or other
  8. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline
