Compliance Officer Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all regulatory submissions are periodically uploaded in the IRDA portal after concurrence with relevant stakeholders.

  • Maintain and track regulatory registers ensuring alignment with respective business units and BIU teams.
  • Communicate to regulators as per regulations, including branch opened & closed data, directorship change, regulatory charges levied etc.
  • Update IIB Envoy Portal with salespersons, SP details and review periodically.
  • Ensure all applicable licenses are availed, procured and renewed with applicable timelines as per guidelines.
  • Issue NOC for exited SPs and detag PAN from IRDA & Envoy along with record keeping.
  • Apply for telemarketing license as per guidelines and submit regulatory data to IRDAI as per stipulated guidelines.
  • Reneew IRDAI CA license, PO, ISNP, Envoy, any other licenses to be kept in track and to be renewed along with PO & relevant stakeholders.
  • Track regulatory checklist (IRDAI Data maintenance, Registers, timely submissions, grievances, etc.,) completely along with stakeholders.
  • Reconciliations tracking with finance, product teams & insurers for sign off every month.
  • Maintain and track agreements of insurers, SLA's of insurers, Commission structure of insurers.
  • Track grievances from grievance team, insurers and coordinate resolution with insurers, business, product and branch team.
  • Audit initiation for Branch & Tracking providing Audit Checklist & coordinating with functional audit team and track audit resolution for branches.
  • Compliance check on AML providing checklist to compliance team of MFL and coordinate and track AML cases with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Bookkeeping litigation of insurance cases, open cases, updating the regulator as needed.

  6. Telemarketing license applications.
  7. License renewals.
  8. Regulatory checklist tracking.
  9. Reconciliations and tracking.
  10. Agreements and SLA management.
  11. Grievances and resolution.
  12. Audit initiation and tracking.
  13. AML compliance checks.
  14. Insurance case bookkeeping.

We are looking for someone with at least 4-8 years of experience in a similar domain. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
