Master AEM Solutions Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior AEM Full Stack Developer Lead to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying AEM solutions that meet business requirements. This position is responsible for leading the development of AEM sites, assets, forms, and guides, as well as architecting reusable AEM components, templates, and content fragments.

• Design and develop AEM solutions using AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, and Guides.
• Architect reusable AEM components, templates, and content fragments ensuring modularity and scalability.
• Implement and customize AEM Guides features and workflows, including DITA specialization, metadata management, and XML-based content authoring.
• Develop and manage AEM workflows, including custom workflow steps, dynamic participant steps, and process automation for content approval and publishing.
• Conduct performance optimization, deliver performance-optimized content delivery, and optimize JCR queries, asset renditions, and page rendering for low-latency content delivery.
• Tune AEM Dispatcher and Oak indexes for high-performance content retrieval and scalability.
• Perform effective code reviews and implement AEM best practices and AEM Guides standards, ensuring static code analysis findings addressed and the delivered code meets quality gates criteria.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, including workflow failures, publishing slowness and failures, integration bottlenecks, and ensure system reliability.
• Monitor AEM performance using tools like New Relic, Splunk, and Adobe's observability frameworks, and assist in troubleshooting issues analyzing metrics and logs.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

• 10+ years of extensive development experience on AEM (AEM 6.x, latest major version AEM 6.5), including Components, Assets, Forms, and Guides.
• Advanced proficiency in Apache Sling, OSGi, and JCR (Apache Jackrabbit Oak) for content management.
• Experience with AEM's SPA Editor, Content Services, and GraphQL for headless architectures.
• Extensive experience developing custom features and custom workflows meeting business requirements.
• Proficiency in DITA-OT for output formats and integration with translation.
• Experience with AEM Guides metadata management, versioning, and content reuse strategies.
• Familiarity with XML editors (e.g., Oxygen XML Editor) for DITA content creation.
• 10+ years of expertise designing, coding, and developing applications on Java.
• Expert-level Java, including Servlets, JSP, and OSGi bundle development.
• Proficiency in Sling Models, WCMUsePojo, and Java-based AEM customizations.
• Experience of multithreading and asynchronous design to enhance performance and responsiveness.
• Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SPA frameworks (React) for AEM front-end integration.
• Expertise in building responsive interfaces with Bootstrap and Patterns.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and event-driven integrations.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures using Spring Boot, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for AEM.
• Skills in JCR query optimization, Oak index configuration, and asset rendition management.
• Expertise in secure coding practices, AEM configurations, and Security.
• Experience of Branching strategy, code merge, and code deployment using deployment and release pipelines.
• Experience of using monitoring tools like New Relic, Splunk, ELK for system performance and reviewing application logs.
• Proficiency in Maven, Gradle, and Git for build and version control.
• Experience of using AI Assistant tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with testing frameworks (like JUnit) and CI/CD tools, Cloud Administration.
• Experience in managing Author, Publish, and Preview instances, including CRXDE Lite, package management, and repository administration.
• Qualifications: Adobe Certified Expert AEM Sites Lead Developer, AEM Architect, and 10+ years of experience on AEM development, including AEM Guides and 5+ years in a hands-on technical lead role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
