Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled AEM Backend Developer to join our in-house development team in Hyderabad (Work From Office). You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance web solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This is a great opportunity to be a part of a growing digital team and work on impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom AEM components, templates, and services.
  • Design and implement backend services using Java and OSGi for AEM.
  • Integrate AEM with third-party APIs and backend systems.
  • Implement AEM workflows, permissions, and content structures.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to security standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AEM-related production issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, QA, and product managers.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
  • Maintain documentation and follow internal development processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with AEM backend development (AEM 6.5 or higher).
  • Proficient in Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, and JCR (CRX/Jackrabbit).
  • Experience with AEM Dispatcher setup and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful services, JSON/XML, and API integration.
  • Experience with build tools and DevOps workflows (Maven, Jenkins, Git).
  • Good grasp of AEM architecture – Author, Publish, and Dispatcher.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning, caching, and security in AEM applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Developer certification.
  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and AEM Headless CMS.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud tools (Target, Analytics, Launch).
  • Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
