ROLE DESCRIPTION

We're seeking a Senior AEM Developer to join our dynamic team at a leading software company. This role involves developing server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests, and integrating frontend elements into the application.

Ideal candidates should have a strong background in backend & frontend technologies, database design, and a passion for creating robust web applications.

Working behind the scenes, the ideal candidate will have a unique blend of technical expertise, insatiable curiosity, and analytical mindset. This person should be comfortable working independently as well as with a team in the design and development of mission-critical websites, applications, and layers of infrastructure. Experience with JavaScript, Amazon Web Services is helpful to succeed quickly in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for Develop and maintain server-side application logic.
  • Designs and builds components, templates, dialogs, and workflows using the AEM architecture (Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR).
  • Responsible for collaborating with project leadership to execute implementations and provide technical guidance.
  • You will be building websites and applications using Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
  • Responsible for Design and implement data storage solutions.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
  • Create bundles, OSGI services, listeners, handlers and workflows and perform CMS administration tasks.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the development process.
  • Candidates must have some experience in CQ5 implementations and be able to translate their experience into meaningful client insights
  • Responsible to configure AEM authoring, publish and dispatcher environment.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Familiarities

with web service technologies such as Java Script, AEM, HTML, CSS, React, and so on.
- Strong knowledge of backend programming language like Java, C, C++
- Good knowledge of AEM applications using AEM Components and Templates, Workflows, Taxonomy, Replication Strategies, Content Authoring, Versioning, and Publishing Pages, Tagging, JCR/CRX Repository Concepts Nodes, Properties, etc.
- Should be aware about Data Structure Management.
- Ability to integrate multiple data sources and database into one system.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
- Understanding of Code Versioning tools such as GIT.
- A bachelor's degree or master's degree in a related field such as computer science, web development or software engineering.
- At least two years' experience developing modern websites using HTML, Java Script and CSS.
