Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled AEM Backend Developer to build scalable, secure, and high-performance web solutions using Adobe Experience Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom AEM components, templates, and services.
  • Design and implement backend services using Java and OSGi for AEM.
  • Integrate AEM with third-party APIs and backend systems.
  • Implement AEM workflows, permissions, and content structures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with AEM backend development (AEM 6.5 or higher).
  • Proficient in Java, OSGi, Apache Sling, and JCR (CRX/Jackrabbit).
  • Experience with AEM Dispatcher setup and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful services, JSON/XML, and API integration.
  • Experience with build tools and DevOps workflows (Maven, Jenkins, Git).
  • Good grasp of AEM architecture – Author, Publish, and Dispatcher.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning, caching, and security in AEM applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adobe Certified Expert – AEM Developer certification.
  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and AEM Headless CMS.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Marketing Cloud tools (Target, Analytics, Launch).
  • Previous experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
