AEM Full Stack Developer Lead

Overview

This leadership position focuses on delivering high-quality AEM solutions that meet business requirements. As a seasoned professional, you will oversee the development and deployment of AEM sites, assets, forms, and guides.

  • Strategically design and develop AEM components, templates, and content fragments for modularity and scalability.
  • Implement and customize AEM Guides features and workflows, including DITA specialization, metadata management, DITA-OT integration, XML-based content authoring, and output generation for multi-channel publishing.
  • Develop and manage AEM workflows, including custom workflow steps, dynamic participant steps, and process automation for content approval and publishing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver performance-optimized content delivery by optimizing JCR queries, asset renditions, and page rendering.
  • Tune AEM Dispatcher and Oak indexes for high-performance content retrieval and scalability.
  • Perform effective code reviews and implement AEM best practices and AEM Guides standards to ensure quality gates criteria are met.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, workflow failures, publishing slowness, and failures.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of extensive experience in AEM development, including AEM 6.x, latest major version AEM 6.5, Components, Assets, Forms, and Guides.
  • Advanced proficiency in Apache Sling, OSGi, and JCR (Apache Jackrabbit Oak).
  • Experience with AEM's SPA Editor, Content Services, and GraphQL for headless architectures.
  • Extensive experience developing custom features and custom workflows meeting business requirements.
  • 5+ years implementing AEM Guides for DITA-based content authoring, including DITA maps, topics, and specialization.
  • Proficiency in DITA-OT for output formats and integration with translation.
  • Expert-level Java, including Servlets, JSP, and OSGi bundle development.
  • Proficiency in Sling Models, WCMUsePojo, and Java-based AEM customizations.
