The role of a Financial Accountant involves preparing financial statements, conducting financial reporting, and analyzing financial data. This position requires the use of accounting software and the application of finance principles to maintain accurate financial records and support decision-making processes within the organization.
Responsibilities- Financial Statement Preparation: The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing and managing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Accounting and Payroll Management: This includes handling end-to-end accounts, including accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation. Additionally, the Financial Accountant will oversee payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
- Financial Transactions and Record Keeping: The Financial Accountant will oversee daily financial transactions and ensure accurate, timely recording of financial data. This includes maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Compliance and Taxation: The Financial Accountant will ensure compliance and experience with GST, PF, TCS, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Proficiency in accounting and payroll software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books) is required.
- Communication and Reporting: The Financial Accountant will prepare and submit financial reports to management, offering insights and analysis to support decision-making. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this role.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of accounting experience in the IT industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting and payroll software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books).
