Telecommunications Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled telecommunications specialist to fill a key position in our organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience in constructing, installing, monitoring, repairing, and maintaining communications systems and equipment. Familiarity with telephone and data cables, wiring, circuits, digital computers, and related systems and devices is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Manage, supervise, and provide technical advice on telecommunications systems.
  • User Feedback and Requirements: Receive feedback, identify user needs and requirements, and mobilize existing technology to meet their criteria.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document plans, requests, activities, and specifications, and report on them.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • System Design and Resource Allocation: Design networks and systems and allocate resources as necessary.
  • System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor and test systems and peripheral equipment and troubleshoot problems.
  • Performance Evaluation and Improvement: Evaluate system performance levels and improve capabilities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Work Experience: Proven work experience as a telecommunications specialist.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with MS Office and databases.
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience with all telecommunications systems, including computer networks, optical fiber, on-site controllers, data modems, terminals, etc.
  • Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Adequate interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Team Player: Team player with customer service orientation.
