Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Sales Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for maximizing the utilization of our da Vinci Surgical System in hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales plans tailored to local markets, working closely with Clinical Sales Managers to drive growth and expansion.
  • Become a clinical expert across all primary OR procedures, positioning yourself as a trusted partner in the development of surgical teams.
  • Work with senior hospital staff and key surgeons to integrate the da Vinci system at new customer sites, ensuring ongoing commitment and utilization.
  • Develop clinical plans for each surgical team to ensure they can use the system independently within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Drive utilization of the da Vinci by partnering with surgical teams to review and select appropriate cases, ensuring consistent usage.
  • Drive continuous expansion of the user base by working with key hospital staff and thought leaders to develop a qualified lead funnel.
  • Effectively convert high-potential leads and drive training activities.
  • Drive sales of instruments and accessories through new product introductions and solution selling.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including reporting of sales/procedures, outcomes of sales activities, and submission of expense reports.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably with a surgical device company.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, dependent upon account distribution.
  • Fluent in English and local language as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Success in introducing new technologies to the market.
  • Knowledge of the Operating Room environment.
  • A clinical foundation to grow from.
