Technical Leadership Role

At the forefront of our organization lies a groundbreaking opportunity for a visionary Technical Lead to spearhead the development of our cutting-edge big data platform. This pivotal position demands strategic thinking, technical acumen, and exceptional leadership qualities.

Reporting directly to an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

  1. Ensuring seamless alignment with client initiatives
  2. Facilitating daily interactions with customers to grasp strategic requirements
  3. Maintaining regular communication with VP and Director level clients
  4. Traveling to client locations as required
  5. Elaborating business requirements into actionable technology solutions
  6. Providing expertise in technical aspects
  7. Designing, developing, and evolving highly scalable distributed components using Big data technologies

Key attributes include application development, integration development, data management, and providing technical leadership. Proficiency in Hadoop, Spark, or similar stacks, as well as functional and object-oriented programming languages such as Python or Pyspark, is essential.

The ideal candidate is a forward-thinking individual with analytical and data-driven orientation, possessing raw intellect, talent, and energy. They should exhibit the ability to think unconventionally while being both a leader and hands-on 'doer'. A strong background in computer science or related technical disciplines is preferred, coupled with at least 9 years of relevant work experience.

This role necessitates effective communication skills, the capacity to collaborate with diverse engineers, data scientists, and product managers, and comfort in a fast-paced start-up environment. Experience with agile methodology, Big Data domain, and database modeling and development is advantageous.
