Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end book closure process for foreign entities.
  • Ensure timely completion of book closures in accordance with corporate timelines, including submission of detailed reports.
  • Manage RPT compliance, regulatory adherence, and partnership with the consolidation team for global consolidation tasks.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure timely closure of statutory audits and signed financials for Board meetings and annual publishing, along with statutory filings based on annual due dates.
  • Conduct quality reviews of financial statements, including variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and fiscal laws, including VAT, Intra-stat, and transfer pricing regulations.
  • Manage receivables and payables, as well as RBI compliance.
Controlling Centre of Excellence (COE)
  • Streamline entity closure processes within clusters.
  • Support team members in closing books, ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Enforce best practices across entities.
  • Track compliance with tax and fiscal laws, including VAT, Intra-stat, and transfer pricing regulations.
  • Drive entity review centrally, resolving pending issues.
  • Support internal and external auditors and teams in closing audits.
  • Assist in implementing SAP and its usage.
  • Partner with the shared service team to drive efficiency and process improvement, including reviews.
  • SAP experience in manufacturing entities is preferred.
