Equiniti, a leading international provider of shareholder, pension, remediation and credit technology, has an exciting opportunity for Pension Systems Calculations Configuration Analysts to join their team. The role is part of the continual evolution of Compendia and Administrator systems and rollout of software to client base.

This is a great chance to be part of the team responsible for core configuration of pension platforms. If you have experience in configuring and/or testing complex calculations within packaged software platforms or through spreadsheet functionality, this could be the next step in your career.

The Pension Systems Calculations Configuration Analyst is responsible for delivering software configuration to internal and external clients. Key aspects of the role include:

  • Analysis of requirements from user needs or detailed specifications
  • Agreement of scope of work and provision of accurate estimates for the work
  • Configuration, testing, implementation and maintenance of pension benefit calculations across both pension platforms
  • Development of professional, technical and commercially aware approach to delivery of tasks
  • Analysis of changes and enhancements to client s pensions schemes by taking view of their impact on software installed for client

Suitable candidates will possess:

  • A basic understanding of UK pensions arrangements (training provided)
  • Technical/software development aptitude & ability
  • Experience of configuration and/or testing of large scale financial or HR software platforms and systems (or related area within platform development, configuration or testing)
  • Ability to understand basic data schema models
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL scripts in SQL or Oracle environment
  • Knowledge of building calculation solutions using MS Excel and utilising ASPOSE to integrate into consuming application
  • Qualifications in financial services or IT environment
  • Experience in Pensions Industry, as Scheme Administrator or Business Analyst experienced in capturing requirements for Pensions IT Projects
  • Demonstrable software development capability
  • Commercial awareness and operational efficiencies/income generation in current role
