Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key player, you will be responsible for shaping our market presence, forging strategic alliances, and driving profitable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Dive deep into market dynamics and identify opportunities in the Polymer Industry for India and potential export markets.
- Craft sales strategies fueled by competitive intelligence and real-time market insights to enter new markets and acquire customers with a focus on Antioxidants, UV stabilizers, Functional Additives, Pigments, Fillers, and other specialty chemicals.
- Own your PnL by crushing targets and managing cash flows through relentless lead generation, strategic prospecting, and quick conversion tactics.
- Deliver lightning-fast, accurate sales forecasts and reports to fuel growth engine.
- Collaborate with internal teams for documentation and process-driven order fulfillment.
- Make quick inroads into the market by establishing connections with end customers in the Polymer Industry ecosystem across India.
- Fearlessly negotiate and close deals that propel our growth trajectory for Sales.
- Swiftly address customer inquiries and continuous improvement for better conversion.
- Figure out gaps in the market with a focus on the above-mentioned industries and product categories to build a profitable business.
- Stay on the bleeding edge of industry trends, product innovations, and regulatory shifts in the export Industrial Chemical market.
- Have thorough knowledge of necessary registration procedures for domestic licenses and work with internal teams to get it executed for compliant business.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. MBA is a power-up.
- A minimum of 5 years of turbo-charged experience in sales or business development of Antioxidants, UV Stabilisers, Plasticizers, Colour Pigments, Titanium Dioxide, Fillers, PV Stabilizers, and other additives with a spotlight on India and experience in exports would be a positive.
- Experience in selling commodity polymers with a strong customer network can be considered as well.
- Expertise in the above-mentioned products, coupled with a keen sense of market trends and adaptive regulatory understanding.
- Proven ability to build and sustain impactful business relationships.
- The role requires candidates with an affinity for action and the ability to adapt to a fast-moving environment.
