Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate to manage patent drafting initiatives for technology companies. The successful candidate will facilitate innovation roadmaps and safeguard intellectual property through meticulous drafting and prosecution of patent applications.

About the Role
  • Manage US patent drafting assignments, ensuring alignment with clients' strategies
  • Conduct inventor interviews, manage email correspondence, and participate in attorney calls to facilitate communication and alignment between stakeholders
  • Closely collaborate with the team, providing guidance, reviewing work, and ensuring deliverables meet client expectations in terms of quality and timelines
  • Stay abreast of evolving USPTO/MPEP case laws and regulatory changes, imparting knowledge to the team and ensuring compliance in all patent-related activities
Key Responsibilities
  1. Independently carry out complex patent drafting tasks across various technology domains
  2. Review teams' work to ensure quality and timely project delivery
  3. Develop a deep understanding of complex/cutting-edge technologies and stay up-to-date on industry developments
  4. Effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members to drive project success
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in US patent drafting and prosecution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven project management skills with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with patent processes and USPTO/MPEP regulations and case laws
