Senior Human Resources Leader

This pivotal role drives all HR activities, from strategic workforce planning to operational functions. The Senior Human Resources Leader is responsible for defining and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Leadership:
    • Partner with senior management to define and implement HR strategies that drive business growth.
    • Lead organizational design and workforce planning efforts to support business objectives.
    • Develop and manage talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent in logistics.

End-to-End HR Operations:

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and compliance.
  • Implement robust HR policies tailored to the needs of the new business vertical, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes, focusing on operational efficiency and employee experience.

Talent Management & Development:

  • Lead initiatives for employee training, leadership development, and succession planning to build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems, ensuring regular evaluations and career development opportunities.

Employee Engagement & Culture:

  • Foster a positive work environment that reflects the company's values, encouraging engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on HR-related issues, ensuring proactive resolution of employee concerns and conflicts.

HR Analytics & Reporting:

  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and monitor the effectiveness of HR programs.
  • Regularly report on HR metrics (hiring, retention, employee satisfaction, etc.) to senior leadership.

Change Management & Leadership:

  • Lead HR aspects of business transitions, including scaling teams, mergers, or reorganization efforts.
  • Act as a change agent, driving initiatives that support business transformation and cultural alignment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in logistics or similar industries.
  • Expertise in recruitment, onboarding, and talent management in industries with large operational workforces.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and foster a culture of engagement.
  • Ability to analyze workforce data and HR metrics to inform decision-making.
