We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our team in a senior capacity. As a Senior Legal Executive, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our contracts and agreements are legally sound and compliant with global regulations.

About the Role:

  1. You will be responsible for contract reviews and negotiations across US, UK, and EU jurisdictions, mainly customer and vendor contracts such as MSAs, DPAs, order forms, SOWs, marketing and event agreements, partner agreements, and related commercial contracts (SaaS and Non-SaaS).
  2. Providing legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms is also part of your key responsibilities.
  3. You will be attending customer and vendor negotiation calls with the team / independently.
  4. Your expertise in data privacy matters including legal research, drafting privacy-related clauses in various contracts, and staying current with global regulatory developments is essential.
  5. Reviewing contracts, internal documents, and policies specific to the India jurisdiction is another critical aspect of the role.
  6. Drafting and maintaining standard contract templates and playbooks (customer and vendor) to streamline the contracting process is also required.

Requirements:

  1. Lets consider this candidate with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT / software industry.
  2. A strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT / software industry-specific contracts such as NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and DPAs is needed.
  3. An in-depth knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR, and experience with related documentation is a must have.
  4. Knowledge about SaaS contracts is an added advantage.
  5. Experience with legal technology tools and AI-powered legal platforms is an advantage too.
  6. An understanding of legal aspects related to employment contracts and related matters in India is an added advantage.
  7. Good communications skills.
  8. Five-day office presence is mandatory for this position.
