Senior Body-In-White Engineering Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced mechanical engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in passenger car body-in-white design and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of passenger car body-in-white structure and assembly processes.
  • Design and develop body-in-white panels for the automotive industry using CAD design and parametric modeling techniques.
  • Conduct structural, static, and dynamic simulations to interpret results and ensure manufacturing feasibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize costs and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Manage project plans and lead teams to deliver high-quality results on time.

Required Skills And Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in passenger car body-in-white design and development.
  • Strong experience in UG NX, parametric modeling, surface modeling, and manufacturing simulation tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of materials, FMEA, GD&T, and stack up analysis.
  • Proficiency in Team Center and ability to create master sections.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
