Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Counsel to provide legal and compliance solutions to our organization. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining regulatory compliance across various business units.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify and mitigate risk and compliance issues by implementing effective solutions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and review policies, guidance notes, and SOPs for regulatory compliance purposes.
  • Provide expert advice on data protection and privacy legislations, including EU GDPR, to ensure adherence to incident management and record retention standards.
  • Support cyber security compliance and risk management by advising on disclosure requirements, interacting with external vendors, and incident response.
  • Offer expertise on immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA regions, reviewing policy/guidance documents for business travel, work visa regulations, reporting, and notification requirements.

Requirements:

  • LLB/LLM degree with relevant experience as compliance counsel, preferably in multinational corporations.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, including Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility.
  • Ability to manage/support review and audit exercises with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
