Job Summary

This is a high-level technical leadership role focused on quality assurance, product development, and client management. The ideal candidate will possess advanced metallurgical knowledge, technical expertise, and strong communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance and Control
    • Lead the implementation of quality systems across manufacturing units to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
    • Monitor and evaluate testing protocols for steel pipes, coatings, welding, and NDT.
    • Ensure traceability and integrity of inspection, testing, and certification processes.
  • Product Development and Innovation
    • Drive innovation in materials, processes, and product designs to meet customer requirements.
    • Lead R&D efforts for new products catering to Oil & Gas industry applications.
    • Explore and develop hydrogen-compatible products.
  • Metallurgical Expertise
    • Apply advanced metallurgical knowledge for troubleshooting, process optimization, and material selection.
    • Analyse and resolve technical issues related to steel properties, fabrication, and performance.
  • Client and Vendor Management
    • Act as the primary technical contact for key clients, ensuring timely resolution of technical queries and issues.
    • Collaborate with vendors for quality assurance, technical compliance, and process enhancements.
    • Provide technical inputs for tenders, proposals, and customer specifications.
  • Compliance and Standards
    • Ensure compliance with statutory, industry, and customer-specific requirements.
    • Keep abreast of emerging standards, technologies, and best practices in the Oil & Gas and hydrogen energy sectors.
